One of my passions is airplane design. Burt Rutan's airplane Vari-Eze was an inspiration to me, and I consequently developed a radio controlled airplane from scratch. The aeronautics, the mechanics, and the construction are entirely original.
I displayed the prototype and plans in an exhibit booth in the mid-1980s. A visitor to my booth encouraged me to build the plane, which I did, and it flew!
The plane now hangs in my studio. If you visit my Studio page, you'll see it in one of the photos.
